Xena Hall is a dedicated leader, community organizer, and Director of Ovanova Gives, committed to long-term recovery and resilience efforts. She serves as the Volunteer Coordinator, Logistics Manager, and Operations Lead, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing finances, scheduling events, and ensuring smooth execution of public-facing initiatives. She was also recently appointed the Chairlady of the Grant Department for the Avery County Long-Term Recovery Group, she leads efforts to secure funding and resources to support disaster recovery and community regeneration.
Her service began on September 28th, when Hurricane Helene devastated her hometown. Born in Mitchell County and raised in Avery County, she immediately sprang into action—clearing trees and driveways, volunteering at distribution sites, moving supplies, and ultimately securing space to open a distribution center for critical aid. Her hands-on approach and deep-rooted connection to the community have been the driving force behind her leadership.
Now, as the Director of Ovanova Gives, she continues to mobilize volunteers, coordinate logistics, and foster collaboration between organizations, ensuring that recovery efforts are not just temporary relief but a step toward long-term sustainability and strength.
